ASCD Ram Air Hood, TA, and Suncoast RA Setup
I've tried a search and it didn't yield much. So here's what I'm wondering:
Will the ASCD Ram Air (1) Hood, on my MAF TPI TransAM, easily accept the "Ram Air Kit" ($100) from Suncoast Creations?
I'm definietly sold on the hood from ASCD, I've heard too many good opinions
As far as I can tell, the Suncoast Kit is prolly a direct copy of the air intake on the firebirds that came with the hood stock (93-97 Firehawks, I dunno what else).
This seems to be the easiest solution to getting ram air into my engine if i'm gonna have the hood on there ANYWAY. Also, If it's gonna bolt right up, I wouldn't mind payin' 100 bills. It looks like no one's done this yet with a TPI car, but if anyone knows if it'll work please post!
PS- I have plenty of time (and mods) before this whole hood thing goes down, so this is just a point I'm curious about for now

dunno d00d...but i want to do the same thing.
haha..
either that, or the 3rd gen 'raptor' style hood, which is far more aggressive looking.
if you want a pic/link to it, email me.

I talked with GTA Auto and they said that it will work with a little modification but he said that he is curintly working on an adapter that will wake ths SC air box bolt right up and knowing them if he said he is working on it then we will probly be able to get it soon.

Thanks Earl, just what I wanted to hear. GTAuto's on the job, baby!
I'm gonna shoot George an Email just to confirm this. Now I won't get ragged on next year for having a non-functional induction-hood
