Fiero spoiler on Firebird

The aero spoiler on my 89 trans am is junk and I want to replace it when I paint the car. I'm not a big fan of the straight across spoiler so I'm considering other options. I found these pics of Firebirds with Fiero GT spoilers and I think I like it. Similar to the straight across spoiler but bigger and more aggressive... I wouldn't mind something unique like this as long as it doesn't stand out too much. What do you guys think of it? Is it sacrilegious to putting parts from another kind of car onto my TA?

I like it better than flat spoiler, but the areo spoiler is my choice of factory spoilers, you can get an aftermarket version that's fiberglass and won't seperate not to mention lighter.

If you like it I prefer the GTA spoiler.

The aero spoiler is my favorite too but I'm fixing this car up on a budget. I haven't been able to find a used one in decent shape and the Hawks fiberglass replacement is way more than I'm willing to spend.

Looks surprisingly good.

If I were doing it I think I would shorten the posts a little to bring the side flaps closer to the body.

I think the Fiero spoiler looks good. Nothing wrong with Pontiac to Pontiac.

Best looking 3rd gen spoiler is the '91-2 Formula/TA spoiler. Hands down. Plus, it's not made of that stupid rubber.
