Has anyone put a 4th gen console in their thirdgen? Also what other interior panels?

I have heard about them going into birds. But what about Camaro's? Also do any of the rear cargo or rear passenger area interior panels fit?

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, 16" IROC rims and ASCD SS hood.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames,
T-56 almost ready to go in, TPI swap coming up

Wifes new car:

95Z28, AT, leather, T-tops bone stock for now.

future mods:
header to tailpipe replacement and a cold air intake. Then I am just going to leave it alone

I aksed about the panels too. The answer was no they don't line up correctly. 4 gen rears are sligthy wider but shorter.

What did you do about the stereo? honestly are you happy with the fit? Think it will look as good in a camaro.

Zepher,

Just a suggestion, but maybe if you put a leather shift **** on it would look a tad cleaner.. Don't get me wrong, i like the t handle, I just think it would look a tad better if that stick was covered up a little bit..

Good job on the rest of the interior though, I think I might have to get a console like that soon.. Probly can't afford the seats right now though..

92fire-audio, man, haven't seen you around in a while. I tried getting in touch with you through the board months ago. I was led to believe that you might have pictures of the ram air II hood on a 91 or 92 firebird with gfx. Is it true??? Please let it be true, lol. No one else does.

I am in the process of installing a TPI setup in my car that was originally carbed, those wires are hanging down are part of the dash harness, VSS wires, speaker and RCA wires.
The girls in my sig are friends of mine, close friends.

The stereo is in the same place it was before I put the new console in. I didn't have to do anything to it, just wiggle the radio pod when I was pushing the console underneath it.

I am not sure how it would fit in a camaro, thier radio setup is different.

Thanks,
The t-bar is temporary, it was my brothers and he didn't like it so he borrowed my leather ****, but I ordered a new leather **** for myself last night.

I am going to attempt to install the 4th gen Camaro door panels as soon as I get them, that will give me place to mount my power window and door lock switches.
Oh, I already had the 4th gen power controls
mounted in my old center console, so I know the switches from the new cars will work in the older ones.
