Could you tell me how you wired your Air/Fuel gauge? Where did the wires go from the gauge? I wanna make it look neat and not wires everywhere. I wanna hide them. So please let me know.

I mounted mine in a dual gauge pod. I ran the wires down behind the A-piller, and then behind the the trim untill the bottom of the dash and from there I ran the power wire to my auxillery fuse box right next to my stock one. The ground I ran to my common ground on top of my tranny tunnel. The lead wire I ran trough a hole in the firewall to the O2 sensor. It is neat and the only visable wire is the one to the sensor but I covered it with 1/8" black wire loom so it looks factory.

Hey Monkie,
I'm assuming you went w/ the auto meter sport comp??? Does it look good lit up? I'm stuck between the Cyberdyne and the auto meter and here is my reason: I think the cyberdyne looks better when its "off" as to the autometer looks like this dumb circle just sitting there...it looks like some fake crap IMO. But, I think the autometer will look coller when its "on". What is your take on this??
thanks

also...something to consider. i got this from "Omega" on the electrical board...

"Do NOT splice the O2 sensor wire!!! It gives you a bad reading. If you splice into the wire on the ECU then you get a nice and clean signal. I think the wire you need is #13 (brown) on the second plug. Do a search on the exact wire. "

I have had no probs. Here is food for thought. Go to the parts store and ask for a replacement O2 sensor. I just got a new one from Napa. It had to be spiced in. It did not come with the plug in, just a wire. On the computer side I don't know I don't have a ECM in mine any more. Just a stand alone for the trans. But I am pretty sure Autometer has put plenty of R&D into the product and know what they are talking about refering on how to hook it up. Just my $0.02.

Well the gauge and pod came today. They look NICE!!!!! I can only wait to get them hooked up. Prime, the pod isn't that big so how did you hide the wires going from behind the pod to out of the pod? I don't see anyway to hide them . And another thing, I have been going over and over the instructions and I still dont know where to place the wires (especially the purple wire) Help me out man! PLEASE!!!!!
