Fog light adjuster screw, 89 IROC
When I dissassembled the front end on my car I noticed both adjuster screws were missing. But after looking at the back part of the fog light, the plastic piece that should be threaded... I noticed its not threaded. So how does this work? Am I missing more than the screw or is that plastic piece defective? I was assuming these would be the same as the headlights, as far as how it adjusts up and down. Maybe I'm over thinking this... but I would like to know what I need so I can get the parts ordered.
Thanks, pics attached

As I've never had my lights apart (yet) so I'm not sure if that's for adjustment or if it just holds the lens and frame in place but I'm pretty sure it should be threaded. Looks like a Rock Auto type of part.

You need new adjuster screw nuts. The ones in your pic are stripped.
You also need the adjuster screws and springs. They show up on ebay occasionally.
