These look somewhat close but not very good. The edges are flat(straight upright whie the real ones are slanted. Also the afters aren't as long.

Hehe..that's not my Z.I didn't have any closeups of my hood and that is the best that I could find quickly. The red bowtie on the grill is standard on 91-92 Z28s.Here is my Z,it is red though.

Dude! The ones that you see on the black Z are the stock blisters, the green ones are a bad aftermarket copy that are crap.

that's what i said. i made a post a week ago asking for someone who makes aftermarket replicas for flat hoods, because i remember seeing some on ebay. the ones that i saw looked exactly like the real ones, but were designed for the flat hoods. these ones really do look like @$$

the green ones are very similar to the real design if you ask me. I'd have to see one in person to make true judgment, but i have the real ones off a 91z, and they look like this:

only real difference might be the length, but the green pic might be deceiving...

Like I said in my 2 posts those green ones are crap, they might look the same but they are far from it.Someone wanted to see a closeup of the real ones along with the aftermarket ones.As you can see the afters are alot shorter and are flat along the edges. They are made for a truck and not for any car.

is there a point to blisters instead of looks? is there a true purpose to them?

and what a nice appearance they give too!

i've seen the aftermarket ones, and they are alright if you had to setle with something but that's about it. if you're going to do it, do it right.
