Billet People look inside

Not to long ago someone on this board posted a pic of a tight looking billet grill. It had the chevy emblem in it too. <if they like they can post a pic > what i was wondering is can anyone here make me one and for how much. I WANT IT.

Thanks for the complement That was my car. You can get one at StreetBeat (without the chevy symbol) for 165 bucks. That is not the one I got, but it still looks cool. I will try to find the guys name and number who made mine. I paid $185 for it. I'll let you guys know if I can find any info.

Ive seen streetbeats for some time and I also saw someone advertize a mesh looking one. But, in my opinion, yours looks way better, the only change i can even think of making is itching iroc into the chevy emblem or swapping in the iroc in place of the bowtie.

Thanks for the props. I have heard the colors name as "Purple Haze Metallic", and "Hawaiin Orchid", so I am not sure of the REAL name, but I do know that the actual GM paint code for the color is 9802. I hope that helps. When I get it repainted one day, I plan on painting it the color that is on this car:

It is called Ford Boysenberry Metallic and the Sherwin Williams paint code is 3K 07-51235.

I've been wanting a billet grille for a loooong time, and then I stumbled across the one from StreetBeat - but it wasn't quite what I wanted. Yours on the other hand - is nothing short of SWEET!!!
Now if they'd curb that d@mn front plate law in IL, and I'd be all over the dude that made that one!!

Very Sweet car!

Yes, I have James lowering springs. I am guessing it is 1.5 inches lower than stock.

There is a law in Texas about front plates, but I've only been pulled over for it once in about a year and a half of not having the front plate.

Calm down guys. You are in luck, maybe. I dug through some old stuff, and found a letter that the guy wrote me. I looked at the postmark, and found the approximate date of the transaction. I searched in my email around that date, and whaaa-laaa. I emailed him and told him that there were a few guys interested in buying a grille. I will let you guys know what he says as soon as I hear something. Sorry, I'm not going to give out his name or email just yet, I dont want you guys hounding him cause I let his info out

Also guys, keep in mind that the grille WILL need to be re-polished every once in a while. I still need to redo mine. The road grit just kills the surface, but it still looks cool Also, the paint he used is chipping off a little. He taped off the front of the grill, sprayed the bars black, then polished the front. I'll ask him if his did the same thing, and I'll tell him to use POR-15 or something like that next time, or maybe even have them powdercoated. If he does not come through on this, I'll see what I can do about getting a local metal shop to mass-produce these puppies
