Dust? Pollen? Both? Have you tried washing with warm soap and water to see if comes off? Gentle scraping with something non-metalic?

Re: t top problem
your best bet is to find a new set and pitch those..they are acrylic and you most likely will never be able to see through them again..85-i believe 89? not sure on the last year..came with glass tops..find a set of those and you will be golden..
Re: t top problem
I recommend you go to glass tops. Easy to find at the junkyard and not expensive.
DONT pitch the old ones, though. The racers like them because they're lighter. And you can sand and paint them body color for a cool hard-top / t-top look.

Re: t top problem
Yes they are LEXAMAR (the correct name) tops and sad to say they are shot!
Your best bet is to get a set of glass tops as they are found used very reasonable.
For the cost of materials and your time to paint or other methods to fix them up
a glass set is the best cure IMO.
Your lucky they are not the C&C tops. Parts and replacements are getting hard
to find.

Re: t top problem
6 liter eater makes a targa setup. Not sure if they make em for third gen or just forth but you can get them in fiber glass or carbon. Why not paint them a nice accent color? If you are looking for clarity however I agree with the others on getting a glass set.

Re: t top problem
I had a 91 RS with those Tops. I hated them with a passion. They scratched so easily. The glass ones on my 87 IROC are great! I agree with other posters about getting some glass ones.

assembly that are rare and hard to find.
