Weatherstripping alternatives?

So, I need new weatherstripping for my '83, as it still has the original stuff and it's wearing out...

Are there any cheap ways to do it with generic weatherstripping or something? I know getting special fit stuff is the way to go, like from here, but I just can't afford that. As a college student, I only get paid $300 a month...

No such thing as "generic" weatherstripping, but you can just get the pieces that you absolutely need.

Well for now get it on ebay for a cheap price, your in collage so i know you can find it yourself lol. And when you get out and start making all that $$ buy the high dollar hawks stuff. Keep an eye on thirdgen Ranch... however they have went pretty steep on prices as well to compete i guess.
