Re: any way to make these clear agian?

Hello! Just did a quick search and this looks promising:
http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...er-4/?ALLSTEPS

Although, I'd also wait for a few more responses and compare them to find the right choice.
Good Luck!

WET SAND! in several stages and Get a high speed buffer ($90) and a HEAVY CUT compound to start and work your way up to a finer polish.... IT's WORK!

You could go to the local autozone or advance auto and get a headlight cleaning kit, or a bottle of mcguire's headlight protectant for about 6 bucks and give it a shot. It should make a difference in the clarity, and might be enough to save you from having to put all the time and effort into doing a wet-sand job.

replacement glass ttops are readily available at junk-yards and cost about $40/set or less. If it's not in your budget right now, it's probably worth saving up for them.

You could always paint them the color of your car till you get glass tops.

  1. Sand smooth as described above.
  2. Use rattle can enamel to cover (gloss black is always good.)
  3. Enjoy until t-top money flows your way.
If you don't have enough money to buy a rattle can then God bless you.

I painted mine with SEMS trim black after sanding and am very happy with the results.
