there's an article about the car in the winter 2002 issue of camaro performers magazine. it didn't go into detail about how they did the taillights, just that they're from a 93 cadillac. he's another picture from the article.

that's a forward opening hood with, count them, TWO paxton superchargers underneath

That's the car that was on Popular Hotrodding TV. Awesome car, but now I know why they never showed a pic of it from the rear. uke:

nah it doesn't have any hp or 1/4 mile numbers, but here's what's under the hood. 383, callies crank, crane cam, trw forged pistons, crane 1.5 intake/1.6 exhaust alum. roller rockers, street and performance tpi, sn93 paxton superchargers, msd ignition, k&n filters, hedman headers with jet hot coating. that's bada$$. it's also got baer 14 inch rotors in front and 13's in the rear, budnik switchblade 18"x10" rims, 7 color change paint, stereo, tv, dvd, sony psx2.

dammit i need a towel.

I think the tail lights are awesome! I was thinking of doing a cover like that on mine with 6 holes cut into each side (three on top of another row of three) but I just like the look of my Trans Am's blacked out gridded tail lights to actually go through with the idea. I'm glad someone out there is creative though... On the other hand, no one would look twice at a Civic which is why they need all those $1,000 body kits and graphics to look good while our exhaust note alone is enough to turn heads. I like our cars just the way they are! ...But I still like the tail lights on that car; nostalgia is cool and combining old with new is good car designing.

I think that it all looks good as a whole. With the tricked out hood and rear lights. How much did you spend chroming out the engine?

Not a big fan of the taillights, or the paint. But twin superchargers, that must be nice.

the only thing i like about those is how well they fit. The triangular parts that go into the 1/4 panel are almost invisible. My vette lights don't fit nearly as well there.

Somebody with lotsa money on their hands. Still, they couldn't have picked a better car to throw it around on. Unless they just paid someone ELSE to do the work.

I am woneing if he is really Street legal because if you look ath the sides of the car in the rear there should be red markers. & backup lights

At first glance I could not tell if it was a firebird or a camaro from the rear, I thought it might be a Firebird with a Z28 Spoiler. now I notice the license plate & the lack of side markers.

Tails aren't quite my thing, but i can see how other people could like it.

Now the engine on the other hand....
Man I'd be happy to have 1/3 of that HP, hell I'd take the engine even without the chrome and blowers.

I recently saw this car at the super chevy show that was in town last weekend and let me say the paint is awesome in person, i could take one step to the left or right and get awhile different color, the engine is flawless and the tail lights are pretty cool looking. The interior is also very unique, this car blew away all the other 3rd gens out there.

Yes it does look alright, but TWO superchargers... lol can you say overkill... pointless really... I've seen setups w/ just one supercharger put out way more than 700hp, that 2nd one is kinda redundant.

Wow, I can respect the work that went into those taillights, but I can't say I like the way they look. The rest of the car is too cool, though. Just needs t-tops...

I really like everything about that car except for the taillights. I like how seamlessly they blend into the body, but the design reminds me of a cheap plastic clip. That grill in the front looks really cool though.
