Does anyone know of any 'good' junkyards (lotsa thirdgen stuffs) near the metro-Detroit Area?

THe junkyards up here in Flint are LOADED with F-bodies, went to 2 Junkyards this weekend & found at least 7 cars.

noticed a few things of interest:
Auto City Salvage:
82/83 Camaro with Cross fire injection
88 Formula with TBI & 140 Speedo
82-86 Camaro Berlinetta V6 T-top car
82-86 Camaro
85 Firebird V6

Aarons:
89 Formula 305 TBI Good hood Black (needs paint) Had T-tops, good headliner, rear hatch pulldown looked good. No seats
91 Camaro RS had 180 KMH Speedo, Red

Welchs auto parts...near coldwater/hillsdale mi area They have about ten cars in their lot alone. There is about ten more at the yard on 49 between bankers and rt 12...can't remember the name of it, but we always called them the pig brothers.... ever see deliverance?

A&A Auto on Ryan and Hamlin had a few 3rd gens in their lot. I don't think anything was newer than '86. My buddies '84 T/A rests there now with my '89 rear end. It was pretty much stripped going in, though.

Has anyone ever been to the yard at around mile 9 on 23? I used to drive by it all the time, but never stopped.

i know this post is almost a year old but if anyone is in metrodetroit and wants an awersome junkyard there is one called Taylor Junkyard it is on Telegraph just past eureka, it has about 6 3rdgen firebirds and camaros. just leave the camaro guage clusters alone.... i call dibs.

Wow, no kidding? I live in Dearborn, so that's not very far for me. I used to go to this place in Wayne back when I had my Mustang (boo! ) and they seemed to always have both Mustangs and Third gens in there.

yea its right on telegraph past eureka, right when you pass teh 75 on ramp.. i live right in southgate, send me a PM and maybe we can get together and tear teh hell outta them cars... once it gets not so wet and cold of course.

Acually, it is Taylor Auto Salvage(TAS), and it seems they have about 5-6 third gens, but the rear ends have been picked through, anyone have a rear out of a 90-92 V6 car they want to sell me??

Have you been there recently? cause they had a camaro (but they wrote Camero on it) that was cut in half and a few others bu tnow there are a bunch of different ones, (as of friday december 17)

i just got back from there today.... my speedometer pin (the pinm that the needle attaches to) snapped when i was trying to adjust it... i wen tther etoday and to my luck there was one(1) camaro and it was a 4 cylinder so of course it had the wrong speedometer... ho0wever there was about 5-6 seperate firebirds....
