Aside from the little lock thing under the ignition cyl & the ignition switch lower down on the column, there really shouldn't be any differance. The ignition switch (not the part where you put the key) for an auto has a thing on it to lock the shifter so you can't take it out of gear w/o the key being turned, something you don't have to worry about but, if it makes you feel better, you can just swap ignition switches from your old column.

I just finished swapping a 200 for a WC-T5 and all I had to do was take out that cable that deadbird is talking about. And everything works fine.

Without seeing your steering column its hard to say, but its very possible that you could repair your steering column with minimal effort. If you intend to swap the lock cylinder you'd have to disassemble both columns anyway, it'd be more effective to disassemble the column and replace the broken parts.
