Hey, I just got my new 4th gen console. It was from a 2000 Trans Am. It's an automatic, black. I've got an automatic, and there is someone on here who also has an automatic with an automatic console. Any install tips? How long? modifications?

 

yes you're gonna have to do some modifications. the shifter won't line up right or something. it can be done, i've seen it, but i don't know what has to be done.

I believe whomever made the auto console work also used the shifter out of a 4th gen. To my knowledge nobody has come up with a clean way to use a 3rd gen shifter and a 4th gen auto plate.

camaro 22 is the only person i've seen use an auto console on a third gen, and the only person i've seen with one in a 3rd gen camaro.
