need a part name and part source

Im in the middle of dropping my gas tank. one of the strap bolts is spinning. Imgonna have to cut the bolt. What is the proper name of the "body clip nut" that the strap bolt goes into.

And, if anyone knows a source for them.

Im not sure about your Lowes but ours has all types of body bolts and nuts

Lowes has a great hardware section,I found grommets for a old Arctic Cat snowmobile,the dealer wanted 8.95 each,4 for 2 bucks at Lowes.

thanks guys...

ill stop in lowes tomorrow. If they dont have it, ill jump on the website.

im gonna spend a little more time on that clips and fasteners website, they have all kinds of cool stuff.

You could try your local Auto Body & Paint Supply store for those Fasteners your looking for,most of them carry those types of parts.

Most body shops would have them in stock and probably wouldn't charge you for it if you just needed a couple.

I'm pretty sure Dorman/Motormite has a "Gas Tank nut/bolt kit" in the help section of most autoparts stores. I think it works with our cars.
