hatch issue

Don't know if this is normal or not, but when I release hatch with the dash button, the motor pulls it closed again before I can get out of the car to open it.

Your hatch struts are weak, and causing too much pressure on the switch so it thinks you are closing it again.

Replace the struts with new ones, and it should stop doing that. I had the same problem and that fixed it for me
