Can anyone ID this hood?

Besides the fact that it's hideous, does anyone know anything about this hood? I'm about to try to sell it and I want to make sure it's not anything rare, since I've never seen anything like it.

Daytona hood. Probably the most ugly hood available for this car. Not rare or special by any stretch.

Yep - Daytona hood. You don't see them to much anymore (although I don't see these cars much anymore). Years ago there was a bus boy at a restaurant in town who owned a British Racing Green Firebird with aftermarket ground effects, the Daytona Hood and a 91-92 High Rise Z28 spoiler. It was always an "interesting" car but never considered good looking.

Good luck selling it. LOL You would have to pay me to take it. Ive always thought the daytona hoods were among the ugliest. Allmost as bad as the camaro version with the hood louvers stuck on the top.

Re: Can anyone ID this hood?

I have seen the Daytona hood with the Camaro louvers on it and I actually think it looks great. Maybe I am the only one. This one, not so much.

Re: Can anyone ID this hood?

Sorry Termn8r, but I have to agree the Daytona is THE ugliest hood ever for our cars. The runner up? cirvinis ram air hood.

I dont like the one he was asking about. I actually prefer stock louver hood over any hood i have seen. The only one I even considered was the image I showed.
