how do YOU guys glue your t-top weatherstriping

hi all, i had a barely leaky t-top, it took me a while almost about 7-8 years ago and i remember going through a lot of trial-and-error to get them not to leak. over the winter, i did a massive patch on my a-pillar around my windshield (https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...ater-leak.html) and all was going well. I have had the car sitting in the rain a couple times (no thunderstorms or anything, just rain showers) and no leaks. today i finally got around to washing the car and when i got back in, i found the water is coming through the center console on the roof. i have a feeling i didnt do a good enough job with the weather strip glue so i was wondering how you guys do it to get no leaks.
