The same.... but not the same
I'm installing '83 front GFX on an '84 TA with a brand new bumper cover. Things aren't quite lining up. The GFX has a flange that is supposed to be sandwiched between the bumper cover and front of the quarter panel. There is a hole in the flange where a bolt passes through, to secure all three pieces together. But the flange creates a gap between the quarter panel and bumper cover as seen in this link. Do you think I should just remove the flange with a Dremel, or am I missing something?

Here's a shot of the flange I'm talking about.

Perhaps the flange fits on the other side of the bumper cover and not between it and the quarter?

I just re-checked it but the bumper cover wraps around, preventing the flange from being in front. Maybe if I tighten the crap out of those through-bolts, it will close the gap?

IIRC, since it's been a while since I've seen the 84 I pulled a fender and the doors off of, that "flange" goes between the bottom of the fender bolt bracket (the thing with bolts in it) and the fender itself. Maybe not, but it obviously has to go either behind the fender metal or behind the bumper cover but not between the 2.
