Special Edition/Bandit Decals on a third gen???

Anyone seen/done a Special Edition TA decal kit conversion for a black third gen? Can't believe no one has done it or thought of it. Would love to see how it comes out. If I had a black '91 Formula as another car, I would do it myself with the hood bird and all the gold pinstripping and gold rims, since with the banshee '77 inspired nose, I think that car would look the best for the kit.

Yup. There's a thread on these in the History / Originality section.

The 2nd gen bandit 1 and 2 are two of my all time favorite cars. I think all that pinstriping and the (probably fake) shaker hood looks kind of odd on a 3rd gen though.

That one is one of the better "replica" styled 3rd gens.
I'm doing something similar, car is all black, after I've wet sanded/buffed, I'll be doing gold pinstripe (with one thicker stripe on the lower and the thinner stripe above it) above the GFX line and the upper border of the wing and the front edge of the fender vents, Gold 17" year one snowflakes, the bird on the hood, and sail panels.

If these cars are done up with too much pinstriping like the original bandit car, it takes away from the longer horizontal lines of the 3rd gen.
