2nd gen wheels on a third gen

I am going to use 2nd gen turbo rims on my 1983 trans am what size tires should I run the rims are 15x8 should I go 245-60-15 or 255 60 15 for all 4

Good question. 245 will fit for sure. What is the backspacing on the turbo rims?
Be sure to post a pic. I'm curious as to how they would look.

I'd go with the wider ones just because they look meaner, but the traction might suffer in the rain and such. It comes down to your personal taste and your driving style I suppose, and if the 255s will fit the rim

Definately a good choice of wheel if they are the ones Im thinking. I had a set on my 84 Camaro back in the day, and they made the car look like it was ready for the race track!
