How do you remove the trim.......

This may sound stupid, but don't flame me for this. I need to remove the trim between the windshied and door window. It's the long plastic piece that goes from the bottom of the windshield to the top. But, I can't find any screws. Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I think it uses those stupid plastic clips that break every time you remove them. Like the ones that hold the door panels on. Sometimes you can get lucky and they don't break. I was also wondering the same thing and that is the best I can think of. But out of fear of buying more and not having a large supply of them, I have held off from removing the panels. Let me know what is back there holding them if you do get them off.

I wouldn't imagine that it would be too much different for a T-Top car, but on my car, you just have to slide them upwards.

if you're talking about the A pillar trim, on the hardtops they use the specific clips that always break and cost $2 each from GM. The ttop cars use the same basic trim retainers as door panels and trim, the clips can be found for $1.99 for 4 at most auto parts stores.

Either car the trim piece will just pull off... usually the pins will give before the trim will break, but its a gamble of sorts.
