Helped I was Wrecked

I wrecked my car this weekend and i cant go through insurance so i have to pay with my own money. The whole front end needs replaced and i dont know what to do. The engine is alright but the hood is gone the driver side front panel is dented all to hell the front bumber is gone the radiator is screwed due to his hitch and the piece that goes from once side to the other that holds the radiator is broke. where should i start and what is the cheapest way to fix this.

Also i thought about the turbo body kit id like to hear your guys opinions on it and also so some more pics of it if you can.

seeing as no one else answed yet find a "u pull it", and get the body panels/parts your self its cheaper.

if you mentiuonds radiator support like i tthink you did then finder your self a good welder, then a metal cutting saw and friend to help you cut off the parts you need. i trust that you have the front end disassembled and can literally see what you need...search for good body shops and welders. oh and other postings on this board.

do what you can and let a shop do the rest. oh check for frame damage.

best of luck

I know what wreckin' a Camaro is like....

http://www.lightstream.net/~the_maniac/accident.html

Based on my experience and all the money I have sank into my Z, research long and hard not just the cost of getting you '83 road worthy again but possible future costs.
How are the floor pans?
Does the car still drive straight (mine did thank god)?
As mentioned, how bad was the frame hit (and there is very little there to call a frame)?
Is the interior still worth it?
And so on and so on....

Had I know what all i was going to spend in my '84 Z (and I'm still not done), I probably would've replaced it instead of repaired it. But I live with my choice, I'm not living in a world of regret.

Took 6 months to make mine road worthy after smacking a telephone pole. Look at the pic in my sig, then look at the link I attached. Hard to believe they are the same car sometimes (the hood was just added this summer)....
