Fender bolt closest to door?

I cant find the last fender bolt or nut underneath the car closest to door. Got all the other ones. It looks like theres a stud or something still holding it. Is this stock or a bad collision repair?

it is a large tab that has been bent. grab it with vice grips, bend it back, then you can unscrew that bolt

Yep very common... The PO was a dumbass and jacked the car up under the pinch welds, bent the metal up, and kind of folded it over.

I see this A LOT with third gens I buy to part out.

You need to bend that lip back down and you will see the head of that bolt.

Re: Fender bolt closest to door?

If the other posts weren't clear enough, you are looking at the back side of the bolt. Bend the flange 90* so it is pointing straight down. Remove bolt.

Re: Fender bolt closest to door?

Did you bend your fender back down where it should be? The stud in your pic is actually the end of the bolt. The head of the bolt is up against the body of the car. I'll post a pic of the way it should be. Mine is rusted in the same spot but you should be able to tell how it's supposed to be

Not necessarily true. I've been very careful with my 92 and been very careful about the way I jack mine but the biggest problem I've seen is the jacka$$es at repair shops who don't care. I've raised hell about it with mine, most shops don't care. My pinch welds are bent because of a shop flunkie who did not care.
