What does it take to hook up a tranny temp gage
I want to wire up a tranny temp guage but am not sure how it's done.

The gauge will take wires for power and ground, and a wire to the sender. Depending on the type of the sender, it can be put in a hole drilled in the pan, or in one of the cooler lines (usually the return).

I'd tap into the line that has just come out of the transmission, this way you know approx. how hot the fluid is in the tranny.
I haven't looked into this yet since I am one of the unfortunate to have a TPI 5 speed car.
