Is this rust fixable

Is this rust fixable

The pictures you see show how bad the rust is and would like to know if its fixable by cutting it out and patching it.

Yes it is fixable. What is it like higher up on the lip. You could cut out the rot and put a plate in if the rest of the fender is okay. Have you looked into getting a good used Fender. Might be the easiest option. Would you be able to get one for $40 or $50.

Its not the fender, its the rear quarter
Either way, yes ots fixable. Its not that big of a deal for a bodyshop/guy

Sorry, Silly me!. It would be best if you could get that piece out of a junk car and weld it in. Have you welder?
