I found camaro 1984 Z28 with V8 5.0 (L69 or LG4, i do not know) and this camaro has PLASTIC HOOD. Is it possible, that it could be stock hood?

Oh my... I can'nt belive. I was sure that it is custom hood. Is it rare thing or nothing rare? Should i change my metall hood to this plastic?

It's stock. Fairly common in 82-83, GM got away from them because they like to come apart at high speeds. They recalled them at one point.

Moscow! Hows the rest of the car look? They're not that heavy.Mine's been fine, but ive heard they do delaminate.Looks like an LG4.

Is this different from the Sheet Metal Compound (SMC) hood used in early Z28s?

The M is for Molded. The C can be compound or composite. Either way, call it SMC, Fiberglass, Plastic, it's the hood being discussed, just different terms. GM would say SMC.
