Here are some more

Way to red for me

Grey and black huh
I'll have some before and after shots of mine soon enough. In about another week.

I have some before and after pics of my interior, they aren't that good though. You can still see the big difference though.
Before:<br><img src="http://3gc.net/89RS-interior.jpg"> <img src="http://3gc.net/89-hatch.jpg"><p>After:<br><img src="http://3gc.net/89RS-gray_doorpanel.jpg"> <img src="http://3gc.net/89RS-dash.jpg"><br><img src="http://3gc.net/89RS-gray-passanger-view.jpg"><p>Since those pictures, i put all new switches in, new door panel trim, a better dash pad, a better upper console, dash vents, and the shifter plate and console lid are in the mail. I just need a few things to make it in absolutely perfect condition.

What are you guys using to paint the interior pieces with?
Do you just pull of the piece and spray paint it, then put it back on. Or are there some special steps that you all take.
Thanks,
Jesse

Hey Murdock, the reason I say I think it is the TA around here, is because that interior looks exactly the same as his. I do know that the dash looks like the Camaro in that picture, but the guy around here, his interior looks exactly the same. Coincidence probably.
RamAirZ that has got to be some comitment to know trunk space, But I have to admit, outta ll the boxes I see in our cars yours is the cleanest looking with the cleanest fit. All the others always look little off.

question for unforgivin89
hey unforgivin89 im looking to do my gauges somewhat like you have in the dash. just wondering is that the stock gauge cluster or did you make it? if so how did you make it? also what size are the gauges?
i have the z28 cluster and no need for the temp and oil gauges i have them mounted under the ac vents so i wanna clean up the dash a bit.
thanks

I didn't paint the peices, i just got new ones at a junkyard. Cost $30 for all the panels, well of what they had. I had to get some parts online because the junkyard din't have them. I also got the seats at the junkyard. The carpet, headliner, sunvisors and sailpanels I got new though.

Here's mine. Since this pic was taken I got the white speedo gauge and painted the needles red with red backlighting. I also added an overhead console.

I painted my pieces with high temp engine enamel for the weather here in florida. Silver Metallic and a couple coats of clear. Looks really nice in the car. Sorry for the late reply. Hey Mike, thanks alot, I wanted to try and keep it clean as possible and contour the lines of the car.

4thgen dash retrofit
72BuickGSX, I know that everyone is going to ask you, so I will kick it off. In regards to the 4thgen dash retrofitting:
Is it a direct bolt in mod?
How hard was it?
How long did it take you?
Does everything work?(gauges, lights, switches, etc.)
Do you think that it was worth the effort put into it?
Could you write a tech article about it?
I think that pretty much covers it. Also, be prepared to have your inbox fill with emails asking about the swap, so a tech article might be a good idea. Then you could just direct them to it before they ask you about it.
Later,
Jesse
