Re: Someone decided to help me with some bodywork
The guy pulled out of a parking lot to take a left. Then came to a stop before turning (blocking traffic). Even if he didn't stop. If he wouldn't have stopped, I probably wouldn't have hit him. If he didn't hear me slam on my brake, and slam on the horn and then decide to look left and slam on gas, the accident would've been more minor.
Basically, I was on the road, he decided to pull out into the road (right in front of me, if he floored it, there would not have been an accident) not looking at oncoming traffic, and yup. He murdered it.
Funny thing is, after the accident he pulls back into that parking lot. Officer does his thing, gives that guy a ticket. Officer leaves. Guy goes to leave, and what does he do? He pulls out and sits and chills in the middle of the damn road again!!!! (atleast this time he didn't pull right in front of someone). Too bad I didn't realize what he did at first and didn't get him doing that on video....

Agree with the comments here. Most important part is that you are OK. Cars are easy to replace, people aren't.
PurelyPMD has it right…keep it, part it, buy another.

Re: Someone decided to help me with some bodywork
I did get a new one. It's not perfect, but most of what is wrong I can easily fix. Just not looking forward to the suspension work again..... When it comes off easy, it's easy. When it doesn't well.....
I wanted a bird, but I got a Camaro, T-tops , 5 speed , and tpi ().
I did put a lot of work into that car, and a lot of parts. Luckily I got good deals on most. I'm an incredibly thrifty shopper, checking all quality sellers, promotions, and open box items for the best deal.
Here is the new to me, and hopefully soon to be slightly better looking car.
Sorry for the poor quality pic. After I give it a good wash, I'll post something better.
