What does everyone think of 350 emblems??

I was just wondering everyones opinion on putting some older '350' emblems on my camaro. I was thinking of replacing all the stock RS emblems w/ ones that say 350 (and yes, its an RS w/ a 350 in it, so the car is what it says) I was also thinking of putting them on the cowl hood (when i get it).

Btw, anyone recommend any places where i could get some of these emblems?? I found a few sites with entire emblem kits for older camaros/novas but it was arond $400 for the entire kit....

..also depending on how they fit, I might just have to get them made out of vinyl...whaddya think?

I've always thought that older style emblems just don't go with the styling of our cars. Our cars look better with sleeker emblems imho.

thats kind of what i was thinking, they would just look too out of place (if they even fit in the stock locations). I guess i'll be gettin some out of vinyl then.... anybody happen to have done this before or anyone have any pics?? I'll try to take some measurements of all the different emblems and play around in photoshop one of these days

TIA

It would be my luck, I'd get emblems made, then I'd blow the engine and put a bigger one in it's place making the emblems incorrect. That's not a bad thing if you're trying to fool someone. Can you say 305 badges with a Bill Mitchel 427 sbc under the hood?

When I had a 400 in my 83, I always thought it would be cool to get some paint or sticker guy to hook me up with some "6.6 LITER HO" badges, in the same font as the 5.0

muahahahahaha

I had 350 TPI stickers made for mine in silver with a black shadow at a slant towards the back of the car. I had them put them on the fenders, centered between the side molding and ground effect. Looked darn good. I gotta get new ones now that the car is painted.

Try www.decalking.com, he's got a bunch of "5.7 Liter H.O." and "6.6 Tuned Port Injection" and such decals.
