Okay I'm friggen stumped. Idk how this driver side mirror goes back together. Bought the car with the **** off the cables. The problem is no matter the configuration there's too much loose cable and the mirror flops. Anyone have any pics or diagrams of how it's suppose to go back together.

 

Well, if you look really close. the cable guide tubes (springs, coils, whatever you want to call em) will have color coded ends. Red, Green, can't recall the third color atm. The "cup" that the **** pivot sits in, will have tiny letters that correspond to the colors. R for Red, G for Green, etc. When the cables are all in the right place, the spring tensions the cables.

Do you have the X bar that snaps into the back of the mirror, and the mount in the housing?
