I recently solved problems with my manual set up.
Inside the door, behind rubber seal area, is two 10mm nuts.
Make sure those are tight.
That should help somewhat.
Tension is different.
Power mirror Wiring should be inside the door already.
The control goes on center console behind shifter.

If your car never had power mirrors, you will probably have to put in everything. The motor, wires, mirrors and then run the wires yourself to the fuse block or where ever they are supposed to go. take close note as to where they go in the other car first and then copy it in your own car.

Wiring MAY ALREADY BE IN DOOR!
For me, I'm adding power seat & power trunk set up.
The wiring already exists in my car.
I DO NOT KNOW about wiring options for doors.
Answer above is BEST solution.
Just remove door panel & look-see!
You have the ONLY two F bodys in Taiwan?

Maybe one of thirdgen.org's advertisers (at top of page, Third Gen Resource or Hawks Thirdgen) can take the whole power mirror setup out of a junkyard car and ship it to you? First though, do a on the Aftermarket Vendor Review forum for them; I think some people didn't like those companies.

Just a quick note. The '86 Camaro at the house has its power mirror control on the driver's door panel. Did they move it in later years?

Wow Ked, didn't realize cali was that close to taiwan. My bad.
You must realize american corporations are cheap. tell me why they would waste wire in a door that has no need for wire? I mean Hmmm. I have had 4 f-bodies an 83 an 84 an 87 and a 91. Think that's a good span for years? and for some reason everytime I opened my MANUAL DOOR PANEL I never seemed to find WIRES!! And try to be a little nicer huh?! The guy don't speak good english and your asking him about "...the only 2 f-bodies in taiwan." Your right about one thing so far though. Removing the panel and taking a look.

I think the motor is and always was in the door.
He may have problems with mounting the motor though. Do we know for sure if he has a place to mount the motor in the man. door? will he need to attach brackets?

I don't know about brackets, but from what I've seen in the boneyard, the window motors are riveted into place. You'll have to drill the rivets, then bolt the sucker in yours.

Hey warlord6six6
Oh sure I'll be sure to do exactly what ya said
You know it all.
After only 15 replies, you sure are a real charmer and most friendly person.
Later.

Wiring is wiring. MANY times GM does things as I wrote.
Does it mean mirror & electric window wiring may already be in the doors for this specific example?
IF vehicle is destined for export market who knows what MAY be required by oversea auto laws and need be added for usage on other country roads.

Hey ked. crap stinks no matter how big the turd so what does number of replies have to do with anything? so you found this website before me... sorry I was too busy looking at my hood and not my computer. And yes I can be quite friendly ****head. You just pushed some of the wrong buttons in my trans that's all. scroll up and re-evaluate your response. Then check out dows response to me. It's like dow was saying, "hey warlord that might be a little inaccurate but, not completely offkey." where as yours says, "warlord you stupid *******. how dare you speak to this man. Did I give you permission. I know everything about everyone and I know you don't know ****." It sounded to me like you punked me out and got a little sarcastic with the poor guy that needs help. So from Jr. member to Sr. member, get off your pompus high horse and try not to trip on that powerful ego of yours. If you can't help people out without getting sarcastic, don't post. You seem to like trying to make people look dumber than you. A doctor might say you have low self esteem. you must be a cop. Or some punk kid, or even an mean old man. Whatever the case BACK UP. Don't be gettin lewd with people because your life sucks.

Love Warlord
