Aero Wing mounting holes

For those who aren’t following my build thread, I am currently doing a ground up assembly of my GTA and am at the stage of installing a custom made fiberglass wing.

My hatch lid came from a camaro so I had to drill new holes and will be fixing the tips with sealer to the glass as my glass trim doesn’t have provisions for the brackets.

Can someone please send me some pictures showing how the center brake light under the spoiler is fixed? I need to see the place for the hole for the wire and also the bottom mounting holes. Routing of the brake light wire would also be appreciated.

From what I found, the wire hole ends in a hollow section of the lid and the two bottom mounting holes end up in a curved area. Looks like I have to use a hole saw to remove the bottom skin.

Thanks.

I also am curious about this. I tried asking in a thread that I started and the best I got was some sort of diagram which I had a hard time reading. I’d love to see some explain or post a picture. There has to be a spot for the wiring harness to go through the deck lid.

I took this screenshot from a YouTube video but it only shows the top part.

Hmm so that back hole by itself is probably where the wire goes. Might have to take my plastic off underneath and see what it looks like.

Yes the back hole is for the wire and as I said it ends up in a hollow area of the lid.

Would be grateful if you could take a picture of the center light mounting holes. You shouldn’t have to remove the plastic cover for this.

Sorry I was a little confused. My deck lid doesnt have any mounting holes either. For whatever reason, i have the clips on the trim but no holes for spoiler.
