hatch adjustment isue
hi my 88 formula has a 91 fiberglass spoiler .plastic trim panel inside .no wiper .the rams i have wer suplyed for that set up .but thay push the hach out of alignment fro the rest of the body .ive been through the factory shop manual folowed alighnment torque setings etc is it theas rams can hold the world up ! help

If I follow your question... There are two options for the lift struts. The with aero spoiler is designed for trunk lids with the heavy rubber wrap around spoiler. The others are designed for no spoiler or the pedestal spoiler cars. If you have an aftermarket fiberglass aero spoiler you do not want the part number for with aero spoiler as they are so strong the hatch shoots open as soon as you turn the key. However once closed they shouldn't push it out of alignment. Does your car have the electric pull down motor on the trunk (I think 88's had them I know 89 does) these are notorious for the housing breaking and then the hatch doesn't close tightly.

HI AVIATOR 857 yes mine dus have the elactric pulldown .ive tried hawks thay only list one ram for all cars .do you know of a stokist for the no spoiler ram ?

Parts store AutoZone, advance is where I've gotten mine over the years. Not sure part number. If the pull down has issue check with top down solutions... I think he is the only one that has parts for the electric pull down.
