Need a paint job and underbody rust prevention / paint
I was wondering if there is anyone in the st Charles area or a shop that would paint my trans am and also
prevent rust / paint the underbody to help keep rust from starting and get rid of what it does has
any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Judging by the hood, you're going to be stripping that car to metal. A shop is going to charge you $6,000 - $10,000 which won't include painting the underside. You might find someone to do it for cheaper, but theres really no way you're going to spend less than the car is worth unless you want to try to do it yourself.

the car is pretty solid other than paint ther person I bought it from a few years ago was setting it up for an lsx swap with a 6 speed manual
From what I can tell it has sub frame connectors
an slp torque arm bar
true dual exhaust using 3” magnaflow cat back exhaust with borla adjustable muffler
koni yellow adjustable shocks and struts
and 51000 original miles
That rust spot is the only spot and since taking that picture I’ve gotten rid of most of what I could
the interior is immaculate with original radio and steering wheel controls
so if I can get it painted it will be one gorgeous car so I’m hoping to find someone competent because there isn’t many shops here that I could find let alone trust

Last photo looks typical for a Firebird. Batteries leak and you get a rusty tray and the steering brace underneath gets crusty. Grab a used brace from a Camaro, strip all the garbage off the battery tray, and refinish.

Im happy to know its just the tray ill definitely look into doing that !
i found out my neighbor up the street that paints old classic cars and he said he could do mine for about 7000 dolllars do you think thats a decent price
he would be taking off each part of my car and completely redoing it all origianl colors
including re pololsihing my rims
didnt talk about the undercoat just yet i kinda got blown away by the 7000 dollar price tag
