Subframe connectors before LS Swap
Hi Everyone,
I have a 91 Trans Am that I eventually want to do an LS Swap to. The car could really benefit from having subframe connectors installed. Is there a good reason why I should wait until after the swap to install the SFC's? Will it make anything with the swap harder if I get them installed now? During the swap the car is going to need all the related work done as well, exhaust, fuel tank, suspension, etc.
Is there a general consensus for the best subframe connections for these cars that you can actually still buy? I'm guessing weld in would be better?

Is your car already running and driving? IF so you can get the SFC install before you swap. Depending on what brand you get your factory exhaust routing may interfere. I have BMR inner sfc on my car.

Re: Subframe connectors before LS Swap
My general advise it to always make the car better before making it faster. So SFC's and Brakes are first priority, then suspension, then anything else after that
Oh, and DSE SFCs are a great design and do not compromise ground clearance or anything else, but they are a lot more work to install than anyone else's. I put them in my car and would recommend them, if you can do the work yourself.
