Hi there:
I bought this 1992 Camaro convertible which came with only one ignition key. This key doesn't open the trunk lock, Any ideas how to open the trunk without damage the body? Can trunk be opened from inside (any safety feature like need cars)if I can get in the truck from inside?
Thanks
Don't you have the trunk release button on the dash?
If not, crawl back there. pull the plastic panel off the back wall of the trunk. Now you can get to the latch mechanism and open it manually. There is the latch mechanism. take out the bolt there, pull off the release motor, and you can stick a screwdriver in the latch and pop it open.

I guess one question that I have, this is my first 3rd gen so this may sound stupid, do these cars have separate keys for trunk and doors than ignition? The second gen have separate keys. Also do all third gen have an electric (or push button of some sort) trunk release? If yes, where is it?!
Thanks

Yes, door and trunk keys are different than the ignition key.
No, all third gens do NOT have remote hatch release.
