I am removing my front bumper for paint but am having problems with the 2 studs that are in the headlight mounting bracket, they are stripped. Does anyone have some suggestions for getting the nut off to remove the bumper cover? Thanks.

Thank you, I was able to work the bumper over the washer on the stud after the stud pulled out if the headlight mount, will probably just drill it through now and put a bolt in

Re: Front bumper removal help
Yeah I have my rear bumper cover, actually the whole bumper too, off right now and it's easy.

Pop all the plastic push-rivets first. If your stud is stripped, my tip is "don't worry about it." Nuts are made harder than studs and bolts for just that reason. Wire brush the stud or wirewheel the stud with a dremel quick then blast that nuts off with the biggest powertool that fits.
