Rear Hatch Bolts
Hello fellow third geners. Have a question, the plastic is coming up on the rear hatch bolts in the glass. Is it easy to just replace them. Kinda scared. Dont want to shatter the glass. Tried looking on YouTube and couldnt find a video on it. Thanx and have a good day

Are you talking about the little plastic washers between the bolts and the glass? Do you have any pictures?

It’s not too hard.Just don’t crank them down too tight.I use a 13 mm ratchet wrench to do them

Re: Rear Hatch Bolts
Got mine through Hawks on fleabay.
For ease of install, I chose to unhook the hatch struts and used a trash can that was conveniently the right height/strong enough to hold it up so I could change the bolts out and also adjust the hatch.
Hope that helps.
