Sill plate mounting hole fix.

Sill plate hole repair.

I have wondered for a while if anyone has come up with a decent repair for this common problem. I have done the obvious larger screw. Anybody have an answer to a common problem?

Depends on how deep you want to go. I would probably weld the holes up, smooth it all out then put a rivnut in there. I am not a fan of screws directly into sheet metal
