Tips on removing headlight motor if stuck down?

How do I remove the headlight motor if the gear is so far gone the manual crank won't work? I have a new complete motor for it. I just can't get it out because I can't get the headlight raised. Any suggestions?

Pull the entire headlight assembly out, or you can just try pulling up on the headlight door hard

I think the lever was just jammed up because the motor has been out for so long. I took too bolts out of the motor and wiggled it around and the lever loosened up and light raised up with my hand. New motor is in and good to go. All in all less than 30 minute job
