I got new hood lift supports and I'm painting the hood this weekend. My carpet and some other miscellaneous item came in so I can finish painting my interior plastics
looking good. looks like you have a nice big garage to work in!
yeah it's a good size but it's a place of business so I only work in there after hours and on weekends. I should be moving into a big shop soon. Has a spray booth and car lift so it will make what I like to do easier.

I will be using seats out a 4th gen Camaro, they are tan and in nice shape .. just need cleaning. I will have the redone in black eventually to match the rest of the interior. I'm pulling my dash pad to repair the cracks in it then I will repaint it. Here is one of the seats. Driver side is electric so thats kinda nice.
random one: my drivers door fit is pronouncedly bad. Yours is much better but interesting from the pic it looks like it sits slightly proud toward the bottom and slightly inset toward the top (the opposite of mine). It looks insignificant in your case so may just be the lighting / picture but curious if there's any history there (bodywork etc.) and how it lines up with the fender
Also, in the front on pic up above, sort of has an adam west batmobile vibe to it

peace
my doors fit really well but do stick out about an 1/8 " towards the fenders at the bottom with the rockers
The driver door does stick out a little in the bottom corner by the 1/4 but that's my fault. While doing the bodywork I made it a little too straight in the corner when it should have a slight curve inward. My doors where off the car when I worked them or else I would have caught it. But it's very slight

PPG makes this color, it's about 600 a gallon. I found a cheaper brand Limco , 225 s gallon. I've sprayed the PPG version too It covers nice in 2 coats Limco takes 3 coats. It's more work to spray. I'd recommend PPG if you can afford it. Buy overall I think the Limco worked out well for me
Interesting that the color is a late 60s/early 70s color, because it reminds me of the orange McLaren Indy cars of the early 70s.
The hood, is it the current Duraflex version or an ASC original? I've never seen or read anything good about Duraflex hoods, but if that's one, then it looks pretty good. Was it a good fit, or did it require a lot of work to make it fit?

I dont know the brand. When I bought the car it was on it. Fitment wasn't very good plus it had damage from it popping open going down the road. I replaced both corners near the windshield. The front of the hood I added on about 3/8 of an inch to close the gap with the nose.
. Along the driver side of the hood I added about an 1/8 of an inch. Aldo added a little around driver side headlight.
Most aftermarket hoods need work. Paint ready doesn't exist in my opinion.. I'm happy with how it tuned out.
