What's the best way to repair this? The caps seem to be perfectly fine, just the sheet metal underneath the caps. Should I remove the cap and cut the rust out and reweld new metal or do you think it's fine how it is structurally.
If I need to remove the cap, do I remove the spot welds or should I just plasma cut around the outside edge of the cap? Been having a hard time trying to find all the spot welds.
