I purchased a ordered a pair of window sweeps (windowfelt weatherstrip) and a pair of door corner filler weatherstrip from Classic Industries.
What I received today was two pair of window sweeps and no door corner fillers. The box which contained the window sweeps had been bent in several places (crushed & bent) & unusable. The box was inadequate for shipping by UPS aka "OOPS".
Any one ever had similar problems with damaged goods or problems with Classic Industries?
I ordered window sweeps from RockAuto and a similar thing happened. The box seemed ok for shipping but wasn’t quite long enough so the sweeps were slightly bent to fit in there. I just chalk it up to my luck sucks.
I emailed them thru their "contact us" messaging. I am also going to call them tomorrow. What really kills me is I have to pay "general sales tax" + brokerage fee + import fee of $35.96 to UPS. Classic has to cover that. Not going to pay twice nor pay shipping again. Sucks!!
