Front Plate Bracket Screws

I live in NY with stupid front plate laws. The 89 IROC I just got didn't have a front plate bracket, so I ordered an aftermarket one from Camaro Central. I was wondering though - can someone tell me what size/type screws I need to get to attach the bracket to the car and are nuts needed? Appreciate it!

Disclaimer - not very mechanically inclined, so sorry for a likely novice question.

Re: Front Plate Bracket Screws

there are types that fold up / under the car.

So if you are at a show, you can fold it down then when you drive it you can slide it and fold it up so it shows

Re: Front Plate Bracket Screws

There are three large coarsely threaded screws similar to the ones that hold up the knee bolster pad under the steering wheel as I recall. Originals are torx headed but anything would likely work. Line up the bracket on the grill and you should find holes in the plastic if they were ever installed on your car. If not they just thread into the plastic and hold there. I looked but couldn't find any but will try and LYK if I do
Have fun
