91-92 camaro hatch pull down motor problem
I have a 91 camaro rs and im having a problem with my hatch pull down motor. I have the plastic later modeled car. My pull down motor was working fine for years since i got it (probably the original components) few days ago chiped a couple teeth on the rise gear. Orded a new one off of hawks third gen. Installed the gear and now i cant figure out how to get the reverse switch to work correctly. Is there a special procedure? Help!

I did this last year on my 92 z28. Check the connections.

The latch could be stuck in the down position, you can reset it by pushing it down with your finger. There are videos on youtube.
