Custom side mirror glass
So I've always hated our side mirrors.
Yes, they look cool, but only from the outside. I never understood the huge gap between the glass and the housing. And obviously the worst part about them is the visibility.
I decided to do custom ones.
Not only are they now virtually gapless, I've used convex tipe of mirror.
No more blind spots, no more driving motorcycle-style, constatly rechecking if i missed something.

Very nice look. What does the other side mirror look like and did you use side mirrors from another sort of car?

I did not use mirrors from another cars, it's just a custom mirror glass in stock housing.

Re: Custom side mirror glass
That's a pretty interesting upgrade. I'm assuming the convex improved field of view. I've never minded the original size and gap, but I have always wanted a better field of view out of them.
Did the new glass stick over the old? Trying to figure out how you would get the backing to work with the stock adjustment mechanism.

You could stick it over the old, but I took it out of the plastic housing it sits in and glued it on to that.
