IROC style raised / cowl hood?

Do you know if anyone makes essentially a stock style IROC hood (with the louver areas) but slightly raised in the center? Almost like a cowl hood but following the factory lines in the original hood?

I like the look of the factory hood but need a little more clearance.

Harwood makes a glass hood with a raised center that maintains the louvers. Needs some work to make it look decent though.

Thanks for the heads up. Are you referring to the “Daytona” hood? If so, I already have it and I think it’s an abomination. I’m looking to get rid of it.

Lol is it really that bad, I was considering that hood just to get more hot air out of the engine bay

Some people love that hood. I am not one of them.

ti be fair, the quality of the hood that I have is quite good. Fit and build quality are surprisingly decent. I just think their looks like a train wreck.

You could probably get as much heat out with real louvers and a cut stock hood.

Yeah I was thinking in just keeping mine and doing the cuts and going with the Trackspec IROC louvers, might just end up doing that instead.

DO IT!!! I got into the 3rd gen camaro game in 2001 and all the aftermarket hood were cowl hoods. In 2001 it was the look. Lost a bit of interest, car sat in the garage for a large majority of the 2010's. Saw the DSE-Z Camaro and the Trackspec Louvers, and just loved them. Clean and they look great. I just don't like how all the aftermarket hoods never seem to line up correctly, or would take the same cost to get them to look flush on the front bumper. I pulled off my hood insulation and there were the bracing on the under side of my flat hood. Used those as a reference and went that route. Glad I did. In my opinon the cowl hoods now look dated.
