Took my under glass mounted 3rd brake light off to change the bulb and the silver bulb retainer peice like disintegrated. I was hoping I could just find an led replacement. Anyone got any ideas of where to get one?
I think Hawks or screaming chicken has replacements, but you cannot just install LEDs without adding the appropriate resistor(s) or you could have trouble with ABS, and other lighting.
There's no ABS on third gens. Also since he probably still has bulbs on the taillights. He shouldn't have any issues with LEDs in the TBL. One can buy a red LED board on the-bay or Ia-mazon and DIY upgrade.
