Reinstalling Interior - 92 Camaro

Anybody have a good sequence for reinstalling everything to the firewall? That means everything needs to be installed including the dash assembly (the whole thing not just the dash pad), pedals (clutch and brake), HVAC, brake booster, hood release, steering column, etc..... I am installing the firewall insulation pad as soon as new plastic push pins for it arrive tomorrow (the ones that came with it are 3/8 and the holes are 1/4). Anyway, I am also trying to figure out what components mount on top of the pad. For example, the hole for the steering column is just big enough for the tube to go through but the larger triangular shaped mounting bracket appears to bolt on top of the pad sandwiching the pad and insulation between the column bracket and the firewall. Anybody know if that is correct?

Put the insulation in first. My car had all the other stuff over the insulation from the factory. I think that makes no sense and didn't re install it all that way. If the whole dad is out, put the pedal brake booster in first. You're back will thank you. Also put the HVAC box/heater core and hood release in prior to the whole dash. The column I'd install after. Depending on what you're doing w your car adding some firewall pull throughs/bulkheads is helpful. Also a good time for stiffening your firewall around the brake pedal mount and slave cylinder mount if it's a manual trans. Obviously if you're doing a proper resto maybe not.

Thanks. I started to install yesterday and realized that I missed powder coating on one of the brackets so had to run them to the powder coater. They are busy so its going to be a couple of weeks before I can put it back together. I pulled all of it apart over 2 years ago so no I don't remember the exact order of disassembly.
